Break The Gridlock!

Our network of web sites runs on a system which we've dubbed "Westgate". This system allows us to provide convenient access via a single account sign-on to all members of the bike community, as well as easily manageable websites to the volunteers and staff of our member organizations.

Once you have created an account on the breakthegridlock.org site, you may log into any one of our member sites using that profile. On many of our member sites, using your profile login will give you access to special features including participation in discussions, the ability to sign up for events on-line, and other personalized features.

Our Privacy and Acceptable Use Policy

The only information that we require is your email address, and an alias that you will use when logging in. We may share your email address with our member sites, and select people within their respective organizations. We will not make it visible to the public, or sell or share it with organizations outside of our network.

We want to encourage the free flow of speech and information on our systems, so we ask that users follow a few guidelines:

• No profane language.
• No commercial solicitation, or spam.
• When posting content, please consider whether it is on-topic for the forum in which you're posting.
• Be courteous.
• Absolutely no racist or sexist language.

We reserve the right to ban accounts or remove content, in situations where offenses are extreme in their nature, highly numerous in spite of warnings, or cause a service disruption in our system. So far, things have never gotten to that, let's hope it stays that way.
